Stephanie has an education and background in fashion, graphic design and entrepreneurship. She has spent the past decade working in the fashion industry, over those years her hobby, skateboarding, began to take centre stage. She put her clothing line on the back burner in order to further pursue the Babes Brigade brand and group.
Photographer & Videographer
Chantal has background training specializing as a cinematographer from places such as Canadore College and The Banff Centre for the arts. She has a heavy education behind the camera. With the addition of being invited to instruct a handful of photography and camera based courses. Chantal focuses mostly on action sports and live events, but you can catch her most days shooting with the ladies of the Babes Brigade as their Team Photographer and Filmer.
Stella has long been pursuing photography, and since graduating Humber College for it in 2016, she has taken her next moves into the Toronto film industry. Stella is a full time freelancer working as buyer and set dresser for the art department, with goals of becoming an art director. Additionally, Stella freelances as a wardrobe stylist, and as a fashion, portrait and lifestyle photographer. Stella is passionate about skateboarding, and continues to apply that love to creative projects with Babes Brigade.
Toronto based husband/wife duo, Rebecca and Jonathan have been photographing for more than half thier years. They cut thier teeth shooting bands in the 90s and started shooting together in 2008. Blending traditional portraiture with candid photo journalism to tell real life stories -Rebecca and Jonathan"
Contributing Videographer & Photographer
Brittany Farhat, aka 'Brittpaperscissors', is an independent filmmaker and content creator working in the music and film industries. Known for her colourful and DIY esthetic, Brittany has a passion and drive for creative collaboration and an interest in contributing her skills to alternative communities.
Most recently she directed the music video for Hollerado’s “Born Yesterday”, and worked as a full-time video content producer at Universal Music Canada. She has shot music video for bands like PUP as well as directed interviews, web-series and live performance videos for bands of all sizes. Brittany now freelances from her own creative studio in Toronto and runs a brand of pins and merch, 'Brittpaperscissors.' Growing up in a small beach town, Brittany spent most of her summers cruising solo up and down the streets on her skateboard and longboard. She is super excited to contribute to the Babes Brigade community by creating video content celebrating female skateboarders and cannot wait to learn how to skateboard from women that inspire!
